The Summit Garage, Himley Road, Gornal Wood.
The present Garage was founded in 1945 by Robert 'Jack' Newey and has remained a family business ever since, still referred to by the locals as "Jack Neweys''.
The original Summit Garage was owned at least before 1933 by J. and F. Hickman, as the advert indicates.
The Garage was again up for sale in 1941.
