In the Cradley first div. Gornal Athletic - sometimes referred to as Lower Gornal Institute Athletic
were not doing too well in this season.
Gornal was well represented around this time with sides in all three divisions of the Cradley Heath League, as another Gornal team - 'Lower Gornal United' were playing in Division III.
In 1931, the 'Amateurs moved to the Wolverhampton League where they had more success.
There is not much other information available about the team at this time and what happened afterwards,
but welcome any further details and full names of any players pictured.
